The Platform shall not be held liable for content uploaded by Users. In any case, the Operator reserves the right to remove any content uploaded by the User and/or Provider from the Platform if it is deemed inappropriate for the Platform's purpose, violates legal norms, or is considered violent, threatening, racist, infringing on privacy or confidentiality, discriminatory, defamatory, offensive, illegal, pornographic, obscene, indecent, blasphemous, or, in general, likely to cause inconvenience or discomfort to Users and third parties.

The Operator declares and warrants: (i) to be an entity organized and existing under the Italian law; (ii) that this Agreement of Terms and Conditions and the fulfillment of the obligations arising from its acceptance do not violate the company's articles of association, bylaws, or applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
9. Operation of the Platform and the Service Provided
Booking and Payment: The User must provide the following information: date, time, and location, including the exact street number, for the pickup and delivery of luggage. Upon completing the purchase, the User will receive an email summarizing the order. All Service information will also be available on the Platform under the "Your Orders" section in the User’s Account. The User will receive two codes, each consisting of three digits, directly in the "Your Orders" section of the Platform. Additionally, the User will receive confirmation of the order and payment at the time of purchase. The User must always specify pickup and delivery times considering a period of 45-minute in advance before needing the luggage returned. Once the User has booked and paid for the requested Services and the Platform has assigned Providers, the User may communicate with the Providers delivering the Services during the Service. The following data provided by the User will be shared with the Providers delivering the Services: name and surname, order number, number of luggage items, and pickup-delivery addresses.
Confirmation of Service by the Operator:
The Operator reserves the right to confirm the booked Service up until the time specified by the User via Platform status updates and email. If confirmation is not provided, the User will be refunded through the same payment method used.
Pickup: At the specified pickup time, the User will meet the Carrier at the location indicated in the order. The Carrier will provide the order number, the number of luggage items to be picked up, and request the first three-digit code. From that moment on the Carrier will assume responsibility for the luggage.
Delivery: At the delivery time specified during booking, the User will meet the Carrier at the location indicated in the order. The Carrier will provide the order number, the number of luggage items for delivery, and request the second three-digit code received by the User for verification.
Once the User provides the code, they regain responsibility for the luggage. It is crucial for the User to verify the order number, the number of luggage items and any luggage tamper or seal tamper if any before sharing the three-digit code with the Carrier.
Service Status: The luggage pickup, storage, and delivery service provided by Pickemap is divided into various status stages.
The transportation statuses and all order-related information will be visible under the "Your Orders" section. The User can communicate with the Carrier and track their luggage during the whole service. The User can always contact Pickemap's customer support.
Delays Attributable to the Carrier:
The estimated arrival time is calculated based on the Carrier's vehicle type. Actual arrival time may vary due to route changes, traffic, and/or the use of alternative transportation methods, and it is considered indicative only. A delay of up to 15 minutes beyond the specified time is tolerated for both the pickup and delivery of luggage. If any delay occurs the Carrier will promptly update the User. In the event of a delay exceeding 45 minutes for luggage pickup, the User is no longer obligated to wait for the Carrier. If the User decides to wait and accept the delivery despite the delay, the Carrier may proceed with the requested Service. If the User chooses to cancel the Service, they will be entitled to a refund minus Stripe transfer fee. In the event of a delay exceeding 45 minutes for luggage delivery, and the User is unable to wait further for the Carrier's arrival, the Platform guarantees that the luggage will be shipped at its own expense to the location specified by the User, including international destinations. Force majeure events such as natural disasters, earthquakes, hurricanes, wars, fires, or other unpredictable occurrences are excluded.
Non-Delivery Due to User's Absence or Unavailability:
If the luggage cannot be delivered at the time specified by the User at the delivery point, it will be stored again from the Provider, and Pickemap will charge the User additional transport and storage fees equal to the price established for daily transportation and storage. Delivery to a new destination can be arranged upon request, with the corresponding costs charged to the User.
If, after 30 days from the initial pickup date, the User has not retrieved or requested the shipment of their luggage, the storage facility is authorized to dispose of the luggage and its contents without the User having any right to recover or make claims regarding the luggage or its contents.
Cancellation by the User:
The User may cancel the Service both before and on the same day of the booking, up to one hour before the scheduled pickup. In the event of cancellation after this time and if the Carrier has already been assigned, a penalty of 30% of the total compensation will be applied. If no Carrier has been assigned, the User will be refunded the full amount paid minus Stripe transfer fees.
Modification of Request:
Requests for pickup modifications made one hour or less before the pickup time can be handled by contacting customer support. A fee of €7.50 per additional luggage item will be charged. For modifications to pickup and/or delivery addresses or changes to the Carrier's route exceeding the originally stipulated distance, an additional fee of €15.00 will be applied, depending on the new distance.
Criteria for Provider Selection:
The Operator adopts the following criteria for Provider classification: availability on the date and time specified by the User.
Conditions for acceptance of luggage and luggage contents
The User declares to be the owner of the luggage delivered. Luggage must be delivered to the Carrier closed and in a good condition. Providers will accept luggage with contents valued up to €500.00 per luggage item. Providers do not guarantee insurance coverage beyond this amount. Additionally, the Provider will not accept luggage containing: cash, valuable goods, works of art, weapons or firearms, devices/technological materials (e.g., computers, smartphones), hazardous and/or flammable materials, narcotics, or perishable items. The User assumes full responsibility for the suitability of storage and the compliance of the items entrusted to the Platform with legal requirements.
10. Service Prices and Payment Methods
Registration and use of the Platform are free of charge. However, Users who complete a booking of Services through the Platform are required to pay according to the rates displayed during the booking process. The User must accept the price through the “point and click” mechanism and proceed with the payment via a payment card accepted on the external website Stripe, to which they will be automatically redirected.
11. Complaints
In case of irregularities, the User may report them to Pickemap customer service. If defects and/or issues are not immediately visible or are only noticeable upon opening the luggage, the User must report the problem within 48 hours, attaching any relevant evidence to accurately identify the nature and causes of the defect. This report must be sent via email to info@pickemap.it. A complaint procedure will be initiated, and verifications will be conducted in the event of defects and/or damage to the luggage to start the compensation process. If the evidence provided is insufficient to demonstrate the existence and/or responsibility for the damage or defect claimed, or if proper supporting documentation is not provided, the procedure will be considered closed.
12. Liability of the Operator, Providers, Compensation, and Limitations
Without excluding or limiting any liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited under these Terms and Conditions, the Operator will not be directly liable for any delays and/or service disruptions experienced by the User during the use of the Services. It is understood that the Operator will act diligently to ensure that the User receives the best possible response to any disruption and/or damage suffered. The Operator further guarantees that Providers are required to have appropriate insurance policies for the services provided, within the following economic limits: in the event of damage and/or loss and/or theft and/or tampering, the Provider responsible for the damage suffered by the User guarantees insurance coverage and/or the guarantee of compensation for the luggage contents up to €500.00 per luggage item. Minor damages or normal wear and tear/scratches related to the ordinary risks of transportation and storage are excluded. Additionally, luggage containing prohibited items listed in the previous section "Luggage Contents" will not be compensated. In any case, the Operator and/or Providers shall not be held liable for missed trains, flights, or buses, loss of earnings, profits, market, reputation, or any accidental, special, or consequential damages or losses incurred. The Operator is also not liable for unforeseen events and/or changes that temporarily prevent access to the Platform, rendering it unavailable.
13. Charges in case of non-appearance of the User
If the luggage cannot be delivered due to the User's absence or unavailability, the Operator will charge the payment method via Stripe up to a maximum amount of €500.00 per luggage item.
14. Interruption and Suspension of Services for all Users and/or individual Providers
Access to the Platform may be temporarily interrupted in case of technical issues or to ensure Platform maintenance. Notification of such interruptions will be provided on the Platform and through email communications whenever possible. The Operator may, at any time, make improvements and/or changes to the Platform and Services if necessary for technical reasons or to comply with applicable regulations. The Operator reserves the right to terminate, in whole or in part, the provision of Services at any time with reasonable notice to allow the completion of ongoing services. In such cases, the Operator will promptly notify Users via email and announcements on the Platform.
